Line Becomes Nullified When Trains are assigned to it

So I had a 3 stop, double track line that had been working and profitable. I went to make one change at a stop by destroying one track switch to make it go the other way as to not use the same track at the station as another line. Once I did this, however, the track was voided. I took my three trains off of the line, and then the line reappeared, but whenever I try to reassign them or other electric trains (I haven’t tried with diesel) the line is voided again. Thoughts?
