Achievement won't unlock: "Penny Pincher"

Hi guys,

I just tried to get the achievement Penny Pincher. I played a normal game from 1850 without taking any additional loans, although i did repay the ones from the start of the game. For some reason the achievment did not unlock upon reaching y2k. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Could it possibly be related to me repaying the original loans?

Hi Tango,

sadly this is a bug. Keep the savegame, with the next patch this should be solved and your savegame can still unlock the achievement.
