Assigning cargo line crashes the game

Hello,

can’t get anywhere in game since when I atempt to  create my first cargo line the game stops working and I find myself back to desktop. Specificly I start a new game, creat cargo line between stops and when I assign it to a horse carriage the game crashes. I bought the game today from steam and it seems to be runing the latest version. Any help is appreciated.
