    Hi,

     

    Just bought the game, can’t start it due to the open GL issue.

    I use an old ATI radeon graphics, which is still good even for the new Simcity..

    OS: Windows 8.1

    Help Please!

    btw, Just checked, and this card supports OpenGL 3.2.

     

    Is the problem with the driver? Windows installed it automatically, so I’m not really sure if I must install the AMD Catalyst software. (Which I tried, and for some reason it failed…)

    you sould always, always always install the graphics drivers provided by the graphics card manufacturer. If it doesn’t work, you can try and search for an older version of the driver.

    the windows card drivers do not include opengl drivers and other related redering drivers only for cards basic use.

     

    you must install the ati drivers to ge ful performance and functionality from your card.

     

    they should definately be on ati`s site.
