Beta! Longer Trains

I felt really disappointed in the lack of need for longer trains so I’ve put this together. I tried to keep the balance between trucks and trains.

I’ve reduced the capacity of all freight cars by 75%, as such purchase and running cost of all cars have been reduced by 75%. this should allow you to run the same line, at the same capacity as before, at the same cost with the added benefit of longer and more realistic trains.

The engines themselves are untouched, currently. It may be necessary to reduce the running cost marginally, as the likelihood of needing 2 engines is increased.

Back up your files!

I recommend starting a new game, or selling and replacing your trains for the effects to take hold on a current save. Please leave any corrective actions you feel are needed.
