I can’t set a higher resolution than 1440×900 on a Macbook Pro with a Retina Display.

The options are there in the settings menu, I can select an apply them, but the game always switches back to 1440×900. I also tried to edit the settings.lua file by hand. After starting the game, it switched the line back to 1440×900.
