Usually i’ll buy the first truck, when it leaves the load station i’ll put the game in fast forward, wait for the truck to arrive at its destination, then let the second truck go. Wait for either the first or second truck to arrive about half way the route then let the third truck go, etc and so on depending on the lenght of the route.

Of course in the beginning, still with these dreaded slow buses blocking the way, this doesn’t work very well. That’s why i usually setup intercity passenger transport by train only initially.
