Editing my own posts?

Maybe I have missed something here, but why are I not allowed to edit my own posts hours or days after they have been posted?

I keep one thread for each mod I have and the first post is the mod description and when I update the mod, I would like to edit the description so it is still at the top of the thread.

Mostly it’s not possible. This forum has a restriction that allows the edit only for a few seconds. But i’m not sure, you’ll probably find an Edit button hovering over the title of your own thread, does this work ?

Ahh, thank you. It was waaaaayyyy to the far left upper corner in white on white 🙂

It seems to sometimes be hovering over the title and sometimes at the screens far left top corner. If the background of the edit button was in a different color it would be easer to spot.
