    1. I started playing the game yesterday and I keep getting flashes on the screen, I have fiddled about with the graphics settings to no avail.

    2. I decided to demolish my road depot to make way for a tram depot, but when I try to demolish it, the game crashes.

    3. I don’t have a proper ‘Train Fever’ icon on my desktop. It’s just a blank page ‘icon’ ?

Do you still have the savegame, where the depot is still available?

It would be great if you could send us the savegame to get rid of this crash.

You can upload the savegame to any file hoster like google-drive, skydrive and more.

About the other points, try to generate a new desktop icon through steam, rightclick on Train Fever and there you can create a new desktop shortcut.

About the flickering, do you have an ATI Radeon card?

Thanks for the reply. I reverted back to an earlier autosave and all seems well for the moment.

    Yes I have a Sapphire Dual-X 3GB AMD Radeon R9 280X

Do you have any fixes for the ‘flashing’ problem I’m experiencing?

Not yet, it has something to do with Radeon Drivers. We’re  analyzing it on the weekend but can’t tell when it’s fixed.
