Game freezes

My game always freezes or hangs after a while of gaming.Any solution to the problem? I’m using a dedicated AMD R7 260X graphics card.And I set my graphics settings to the lowest though the performance of the game improved but it still freezes and Windows says it’s not responding.Also I have the latest drivers installed.

Try to delete the settings and texture_cache files manually and then run it again. 

Do you shut down the game manually?

Try to delete the game directory in the SteamApps folder manually and then re-install the game again.

When does your game crash? We’ve had one player with a crashing game some-time during the loading.

He just re-installed the game a few times and suddenly it worked.

Though my game hangs during loading,I am still able to play after awhile of wait.It only crashes during gameplay.I’ll try doing that solution for 5 times and let you know whether it works.
