Game lags when building roads

I just noticed recently that the game gets real laggy when building roads. It happens even when I fist start a new game. I don’t remember this happening when I first bought the game so maybe one of the patches caused this.

Is anyone else getting lagged when building roads? I haven’t seen anything about this.

My system is a quad core w/ 8 g ram and GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2g ram, no ssd & Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit.

Hiho Tattoo……before the patch it was horrible to build roads in Simulation mode and also in pause mode. Now ist even better. Only in the late game it is getting laggy.

Yeah, that’s weird because I don’t remember any lag when building roads. I could be wrong tho since I’ve been mainly concentrating on rail routes. But I thought it would be better with the latest patches and it’s not. I haven’t noticed any difference since the newest patch either. So I dunno. I can only hope that they figure it out because it gets very annoying to play with such distractions.
