Game not working

I recently purchased Train Fever with Steam and, after the download, proceeded to play. But nothing happened after the first screen. The music track plays, the mouse is not frozen, but all the menu items are unclickable. Nothing works. I tried the game off-line, thinking the problem originated with Steam, but to no avail. Can anybody help me? Steam does not respond to my complaint.

This is my hardware profile:
I am running on OS X Yosemite vs. 10.10.5 with one 2,3 GHz Intel Core 15, 8GB memory 1333MHz DDR3, and an SSD drive. Videocard: Intel HD-video 3000 512 MB and with a Mac mini.

Do you have Windows on a Bootcamp partition?

Had problems with TF and OSX myself, but it works ok in bootcamp.
