Having problems sharing lines

I have setup a line with 2 different routes sharing the same line for goods train.  I have checked the line and watched the train all the way to station but when it gets there it says “waiting for path” i think, but i stop it and reverse then it says it has no path.  Not sure why but has only started to happen since USA DLC, i have been able to to do this in the previous version of the game. Has anyone had this problem since DLC?

Apparently, the behaviour of stations has changed somewhat, and you need a signal somewhere.

If I understood that correctly, didn’t run into it myself, yet.

Yes, signals at the end of stations now. Why? God knows.

thanks guys, much appreciate the info.  Will look and see if that works.

Im surprised why they would change that about stations, when it work so well before?  very strange
