Huge lagging since the update

Hi. since the Usability patch, my game lags like crazy every time i build or remove anything. where talking freezelag up to a couple of seconds when adding something like a signal. crazy stuff.

my specs:

Processor: intel core i7-6700hq @2,6GHz

RAM: 8GB

Graphic: Geforce Gtx 970M

running on 64-bit Windows 10.

 

i had mostly no problems before the update. just the auto save lag and the random freezes that were supposed to be fixed with this patch.

is there anything i can do to fix this? really love the game!
