important defaults are not saved (usability bug)

important configuration, such as which rail type to place (with or w/o electrification, high-speed or low-speed,..) are not stored/restored between game sessions (save>exit->start->load). This is pretty annoying, since it may accidently happen that undesired tracks (or roads) are placed if you happen to forget that you have to redo said configuration after each start.

Also, it would be nice if view options (display height lines, goods icons, land usage) were stored / restored.

Though this should be easy to implement, it is a must have.
