    Greetings=) I’m working on some Japanese trains.

    My previous work is a JR E233-1000 series:

    This is my Shinkansen 500 series =)

    Shinkansen 500 series is a Japanese hight-speed train, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West) on the Tokaido Shinkansen and Sanyo Shinkansen lines in Japan. They were designed to be capable of 320km/h, but operated at 300 km/h, untill they were finaly retired from the primary service in 2010.

    For now model didn’t have a normal_map, I’ll add it later.

    Updated to version 1.1:
    – reduced running costs
    – added loading speed modifier

    In the future, I plan to stand as such trains as shinkansen 700 and N700 series, as well as JR E231 series.

    Amazing work, Marius!

    Huge fan of your JR E233-1000, fun little regional train that gets tons of usage on my maps.
    Personally, I love high speed trains; the more the merrier.

    Considering I’m a fan of different regions (US, Russia, Japan), I’ll eagerly await more. Any plans for the E223 or the Tsuyama Express though? Or the 800 series Shinkansen? Or the E7 series?

    Regardless, keep it up, I’d say!

    Looks fantastic but I keep getting this ‘Скачать документ не удалось’, which basically means download failed according to google translate.

    Banter_NMBS, thanks =) I thought about shinkansen E7 and E5 series , but I can’t find any blueprints for them.
    =(  Same story with other Japanese trains, find blueprints for them is extremely difficult.

    simonmd, hm, I tried download this now, it works fine. Maybe have been some difficulties with Yandex drive .. Also I can advise try to download through a different browser.

    Grrrrrreat Success! Now my top two favorite Shinkansens are in the game.

    Works great without the normals, anyway! = ) – So, great work!

    Also, I’m working on Shinkansen 700 series, but he have is not very good texture, soon I will fix them and publish it =)

    Thank you very much for your outstanding work. I’m looking forward to your Series 700 Shinkansen.

    Regarding your lack of blueprints for the Series E5 and E7 Shinkansen maybe this site can help. These are model trains but maybe the shots are detailed enough to create a 3D model from them. I do own a few of these myself and they are very accurate.

    The 700 series is a Japanese Shinkansen high-speed train, formed the nexn generation of shinkansen vehicles. Jointly designed by JR Central and JR West, for use on both Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines.

    Also this mod includes the Rail Star version:
    The Rail Star 8-car units were introduced by JR West, for use on new limited-stop Sanyo Shinkansen Hikari Rail Star services, between Shin-Osaka and Hakata.

    Also, the 500 series Shinkansen has been updated to version 1.1
