Line dialog shows forecast profitability?

Last night I noticed that the financial information in the line dialogue didn’t match what was being shown on the financial tab of the individual line dialogs. At first I was going to report it as a bug, but after following it for a year in-game it seems that the line dialog is showing forecast, not actuals.

Apart from the fact that this isn’t at all clear (there’s no hover over) it makes monitoring year-to-date actuals a huge pain if you have a large number of lines as you can’t see them in one place.

Can the devs confirm that this is the behaviour of this dialog, and if so:

– Will there ever be an option to show actuals here, either as a toggle or alongside the forecast

– What is the forecast based on and how accurate can it be considered to be?
