Main connection is buggy

Hi,

The main connection removal prevention is buggy.
I cannot remove the road even if a bypass has been built.

Beside this problem I find the main connection mechanism weird. In the situation of the picture I have to replace the crossing with a bridge/tunnel. The best way would be:
1) delete the road
2) build the bridge/tunnel
without building a bypass at all.
