My experience with the freeze on save game

Not sure if this is known:

I noticed that when i added a train station to my bus lines the lines on the road disappears and my save game wouldn’t load anymore/freeze up.

Only when i load an autosave game before i added the train station it will load correctly.
Maybe this helps?
