    Shut down last night on the new version fine, saved the game – started up this morning and neither of the last two saved games loads – I get:

    Lua error

    File:res/models/model

    cannot read res/models/model/: Is a directory

    Going back to the last saved game from the old version of the game, for the same map loads fine, so I suspect it’s related to the change in saved game format in the last release.  Obviously if I can’t save games and reload I can’t play, so this is more or less of a show stopper.

    Same problem here…..

    Just to check, I created an entirely new game, empty map, saved it, quit, restarted, reloaded – same crash.

    I get the same error message / crash and a rapid fix or workaround would be highly appreciated! Otherwise, the game works fine and is still somewhat playable, although I had to unlock the 1950 starting time in one go…

    For your information, the problem also occur on a fresh installation of build 4363 Mac-64bit. All save files are affected: autosaves and manual saves, including save files that do not contain changes of the generated map.

    Hello,

    We are aware of some who have this problem but we did not see it our self.

    Can someone please upload a savegame that does not work?

    Do you have any installed mods that could have caused the error?

    I wish I could upload a save game.  It doesn’t work .period. on my 2012 Macbook Pro Retina.

    It freezes following map load.

    I have no mods, it’s vanilla build 4363. I’m at work now but will try and Dropbox a saved game that exhibits this behaviour when I get time later.

    It could be caused by mods that are not installed properly anymore.

    if you re-install all your mods that you’re using, it could work again.

    Could you try that?

    @Nekro
    , thx for the savegames.

    @TomB
    , that would be great.

    /Users/.your user./Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata/122742840/304730/local/save

    The folder Libary is a hidden folder!

    To show hidden folders in finder, open a new terminal and enter:

    SUDO defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles YES; killall Finder

    Enter your account passwort – now you can see hidden folders in finder.
