PC Crash after changing Videoresolution

System: Win7 Prof.64-32GB RAM-NvidiaGTX55oTI-neuester Treiber 4052-Trainfever über Steam erworben

Problem:Erst- und Zweitstart ohne Probleme, nach Änderung der Videoauflösung ein Hängen des PC´s.

Lösungen mit ALT-Tab funktionieren nicht, PC hängt sich völlig auf.

Deinstallation über Steam (Löschen lokaler Daten von Trainfever) und neuerlicher Download davon haben nichts gebracht.

Wie kann der Ursprungszustand wiederhergestellt werden?

In Registry habe ich nichts besonderes entdeckt, als auch keine Konfigurationsdateien der Videoeinstellung im SteamApp Verzeichnis.

Problem: after 2 normal sessions changing the video resolution crashes the computer

Solutions posted for this (Alt-Tab) do not work, PC is completely knocked out.

Deinstallation via Steam (delete local appdata) und reinstallation does not work too.

How to have a virgin Trainfever installation?

In registry and als in SteamApp directory i did not find any configs for TrainFever

It seems, that nobody knows where the videoconfiguration is stored.

Perhaps someone found out, how to start Train Fever in windowed mode, maybe by passing startparameters to it?

If so, please post Your knowledge about it

The video configurations can be found in here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\\304730\local

There’s a settings.lua file that can be edited with any text editor.

Thanks mikael, this helped and Train Fever is running again!

i only changed Fullscreen option to false in settings.lua and i have got a working windowed mode and not a crash.

maybe this helps other users too.
