September 10, 2014 at 23:16 #7131EmegParticipantThat’s curious. I have nearly the same system as you have, i7 370, Gforce 660, 16 GB Ram, Win8 64bit and TF is running smooth on my system. Only some short and light jerky performance when the game is auto saving or the game presents the (monthly) financial results. Do you have the most recent video card driver software installed or may-be other software (having conflicts with TF) running at the background? The Train Fever software don’t work properly together with some other programs. I have (beside the known McAfee troubles) also an issue between Bandicam and Train Fever. If I start the Bandicam recording program before I start Train Fewer then the landscape generator creates corrupted map results (see the picture below) Sorry for my answer in English, I am Dutch and can understand and read the German language very well, only to write in German is difficult (very unfamiliar) for me.
September 11, 2014 at 13:20 #7272Heisenberch zocktParticipantThanks Emeg, no problem with the language.
Me english is bad, that`s why I wrote in german… ^^
First; yes, the Gforce-Driver are actual.
And as far as I know I haven`t not too many other programms in the back.
I also tryed to play directly after a restart of the PC, with same bad result.
And there is no Bandicam or something else, cause I first need to be able to play the game, before I can start recording it. ^^
But thanks, I will try it next time with stopping EVERYTHING in the back, so I will see.

Mein System:
Intel i5 760 2,8Ghz
12GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 6950also müsste es top laufen egtl.
Treiber hab ich alle geupdated.
Aufm Laptop (Core i5, 4GB RAM, Mobility Radeon 5850) läufts ohne Probleme in jeder Auflösung.

Liegts an Steam? 😉 hoffe nicht *g*- This reply was modified 9 years, 12 months ago by Darkcutter.
September 12, 2014 at 19:25 #7721mikaelMemberIf you set the Textures quality to high in the settings, does this change something?

September 19, 2014 at 23:48 #9409DarkcutterParticipantup – same problem after the new patch 🙁
September 20, 2014 at 18:16 #9461SFGParticipantSwitching Video Settings between low or max doesnt change anything the game still got a few seconds whenever buildings are build by the Computer or building anything else like streets. The same when bulldozing something i just giot up to 7 sec breaks till the game goes on.
The prformance is still ok when i do nothing then the breaks are onlx up to 2-3 seconds 🙂
September 21, 2014 at 11:41 #9524yidParticipantSame for me. Someone posted that the game seems to clear the graphic card´s RAM (maybe some kind of garbage collection?), even on cards with more than 1GB. Maybe there is an easy way to fix the problem for cards with more than 1GB (like mine) in another patch.
This could also mean that running the game on the HD4000 on an i7 CPU might not encounter the “hanging” problem, though the game is slower from the start. Can anybody prove that? (I
ve got an AMD cpu and cannot test it, unfortunaltely)September 21, 2014 at 22:14 #9590humanstewParticipantI noticed Windows Error Reporting running. After disabling it I had no more freezing.
September 22, 2014 at 10:54 #9639yidParticipantHow can I switch off Windows Error Reporting?
