The game has a lot of potential, but laying train tracks is terrible.  The changes in terrain make it way too difficult.

So far I’ve only successfully done it once – I usually run out of money because I have to try multiple ways of laying the tracks before it works.

Is there a trick that I’ve completely missed? Surely it should be fairly easy to connect two stations…

build along contours, not against them.

I advise to watch some Let’s Play videos to observe how other people do it. There are some rules about what can and cannot be done.

Also, build the tracks in smaller pieces. If you use large parts, the engine tends to make huge adjustments in heights…. However, the other side of the medal is that building bridges over other tracks can become a pain in the ass then 🙂 I’m sure we can expect some update in the future.
