    Hi,

I would like to give my opinion about what a successful train game is. Its important to give a good feel about it, and the people who like those games appreciate the sounds and see a busy intersection.

Games like Cities in Motion have barely train sounds. Many others failed because of that.

This is what I’m talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPlNqJMktNc

The feel that you are in an industrial place, very machine noisy and see trains coming and go all the time surplus gameplay, graphics and other things.

I think this TS video capture that very well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C12aycIepqA

I agree, realistic sounds – it’s a important part of atmosphere of the game. Sound of the trains (especially heavy locomotives and trains) – it is something indescribable and I hope what in TF will be really cool sounds ;D

    And just two videos:

    1. http://youtu.be/i8lVibY8bjk – soviet heavy loco (2:15), roars like a Boeing.  😀

    2. http://youtu.be/MHbv3zvtTu8 – ukranian train, good sounds of the passanger cars.

And sounds not only when you click on the train, but also just being close to it. And different sound when the train start and stop.

Like the sound when this guide starts and the sound of the end slide: http://goo.gl/EFnnr

Therefore they are working with a musician/sound-artis:

I hope it is a “train-fan” and knows what will be important for us
