AzraelParticipant
I think you couldn’t see a big city yet because most of the youtubers start 1850 and didn’t had the chance to reach the 1950’s because of beta wipes.
I’m not one of those lucky guys, but I guess, if you start 1850 and do your job good, you’ll have big cities by maybe the 1930’s or 1940’s.AzraelParticipantI don’t see, why there should be a problem between guys that want boats and airplanes and airports, even multiple big ones and those, who don’t want all this:
Just make it as expansion DLC and if you buy it, you have it and if not, then not.
And, if one day comes multiplayer, make it an option to turn it off and all are good to go.
There’s no need for the devs to force themselves to go one path down or another, just make both and make them optional and its ok.AzraelParticipantYear, to simplify it, so they can release it on 5 September i guess.
It doesn’t mean necessarily, that they’ll never patch it in, as seen in the video above, they had it implemented and could show it.
It means imho, that it needs a bit of work, but other things are much more important right now so they took it out of the game for the moment.AzraelParticipantSteve, I guess you wrote a superb idea for a mod/DLC 😀
AzraelParticipantPost the stream and I and other German-speaking guys can translate the important things.
AzraelParticipantAs far as i know, devs said, they plan to add curved stations so I guess, other and bigger stations are also on the list.
AzraelParticipantWell in the first two videos you repeated yourselves over and over and over and over and over….
Or you talked about totally irrelevant things or made yourself look bad, mostly in the second video:
First 10 minutes, how people think about US highschool. Wtf? I don’t wanna be rude to you, but that summs my impression perfectly up, this three letters, because this has literally nothing to do with the game.
And the remaining minutes you make yourself look bad because you say over and over again, that you’re not a good commentator and writer. So what? In Germany we got a saying that, roughly translated says, that noone got born as a master.
You made mistakes, but you took on that constructive criticism and improved in the third episode and the more LP’s you make, the better you will become at it or do you think, famous YouTubers started as good as they’re now?
So don’t bother about that and just do it.I had the impression, that you had a lack of themes you could comment on while playing so I suggest, that you should read the forums and maybe comment on one or two discussions and link them in the video description.
Or just comment more in depth about what you do right now in the game or why you do something in this way and not in another or, if all strings are ripped apart, talk about important RL things like your stance in the Gaza conflict but pls, oh by god pls don’t talk about VIP or wannabe VIP like, that Justin Bieber puked yet again in a club in LA, that doesn’t interest anybody who has a glimpse of Intelligence so in conclussion noone of this community will take interest in it and will unsubscribe your channel, if you start talking about VIP.With best regards

August 20, 2014 at 11:10 in reply to: Suggestion: Make industries more complex [German and English Text] #3190AzraelParticipantI know, that the dev-team is a small one and as I said, I like their work except the little mining industry branch.
And because of that and because release is only two weeks away, I know, that it won’t be probably in until release, but thats not a problem for me.
It would become a problem, if they say “No, adding additional industry branches are not planned” but i highly doubt it.
I even don’t know, if they alrdy have this on their to do list.
I just wanna make sure, that the first good and appealing transport management game for several years has the buyers to support the devs, because for a 2-3 men team they did a very good job, a better one that some 100 men dev-teams accomplish.
And for that fact, because we’re not living in a fairy tales world, people will talk bad about the game, if it misses out such a huge standard thing like diverse industry.
I dunno, if you know the steam community hubs, I guess you do, but they’re not that friendly there like we are here in the forum and they also write reviews, if they’re dedicated enough. So pls don’t missunderstand my suggestion as unfair criticism.
August 20, 2014 at 02:38 in reply to: Suggestion: Make industries more complex [German and English Text] #3183AzraelParticipantTo be clear, I have no problem with mods, in contrary, I support modability, but imho its the devs job to add standard things.
Yes, it’s a very good and very smart move to make the game modfriendly, it will keep it alive for many years, look at Mount & Blade Warband, similar situation, a small dev studio with a publisher and a mod friendly game and it still lives and breathes, after 4 years, if you look at the original M&B even 6 years.Even if they can’t get it in until release, it doesn’t mean, they shouldn’t work on it at all, in contrary they should and add it after release.
August 20, 2014 at 01:52 in reply to: Suggestion: Make industries more complex [German and English Text] #3177AzraelParticipantSure but, no offense, in my opinion it’s a sign of weakness, if the community has to do the work of the devs in cases, where we talk about standard mechanics/things and imho it is such a standard thing, that there is more than the mining industry in a transportmanagementsimgame.
But as said, I do hope, they alrdy have this on their to do list, I mean, look around, even OpenTTD and Simu Trans, F2P-Titles with shitty 90’s isometric graphics have multiple industrie branches, it would look terribly bad, if they’re better than a P2P-Title of 25€ worth.

AzraelParticipantIf you would’ve looked up dev statements and videos, you would’ve seen, that they create the game modfriendly, so yes, the game can be modded from day 1 on.
AzraelParticipantI also think, the devs should also think of the non-german-speaking players, since, I guess, they’ll be the majority of the players of the game and most, if not all of the gamers are english-speaking.
They should allow some english-speaking YouTubers to make some Beta Videos.AzraelParticipantAs far as I know, they’re located somewhere near the German-Swiss-Border but in any case they’re from the Germanspeaking-Part of Switzerland, hence why the first YouTubers, who get material, are germanspeaking ones.
The Team consists of small newcomers, they’re not f*cking EA with shitloads of money.
I bet even that one single little stand on gamescom ate up a huge part of their PR budget.
So don’t expect them to come cross over the ocean for E3 that soon, except Train Fever becomes the next WoW, according to sale numbers and they develop other games to make money.AzraelParticipantI don’t think so, that would be unrealistic.
