epic voidParticipantPerhaps anybody can help if you upload your savegame somewhere…
epic voidParticipantAny screenshots? Im curious. This never happend to me 🙂
epic voidParticipantIs it possible you are trying to assign an electro train on lines with (partially) missing catenary? Beware there are often very small parts missing near junctions in case you added it afterwards.
epic voidParticipantSounds like your cooling is inadequate…
epic voidParticipantIt is nice indeed but i stopped after 43h playing in hope to continue with an X rail patch some day …. i need X rails and 3 way switches! Signals are very limited and the industry is too much openttd style: too much, stupid locations in the middle of nowhere (it’s okay for oil fields and mines – but factories, honestly?). Still great game reduced to the absolute minimum 🙂

epic voidParticipantUsually you do not want as many of the new vehicles as you had before… They are more powerful and efficient – a simple replace-with is not sufficient.
epic voidParticipantI highly doubt you will have much fun with it as soon as people start driving cars…
For comparison: I have an A10-7850K with 16gig RAM.
Currently the year is 1920 on my first (medium) map with most cities connected and bus and truck lines everywhere. After loading you need to look around at the map … obviously it has to load some stuff for the first time doing it. The fps will rise to an OKAY-ish level. For me it is never fluid but sufficient. My system is low end but definetly more powerful than yours.
@JSchultz: I have 2 trains with 10 wagons each connected to 4 industries in a row (coal, ore and 2 of the product city). Trucks transport the goods to the near city. You are doing it wrong.- This reply was modified 9 years, 6 months ago by epic void.
