    Not bad “Mr. SpoorObjecten”…

Wish you could help though! XD

Btw what vehicles and other items are you planning to make then?

Ah ok. Figured diesels would be your best, I’ve more or less got steam engines covered.

Also would you say Passenger or Freight Diesels would be easier for you to research?

If you want I can make a British mod pack after I make my American one.

Well consider your self “hired” then pschlik. To be honest most of the work for this pack will be for the modeling of the engines, stock, and buildings. But the programming shouldn’t be to hard to do as long as the developers make sure it’s at least as easy to mod as CiM.

By the way, what research do you think you could do the most: steam, diesel, electric, etc.

They seem to “flip” like the old TTD/Loco trains do. I think trains with two engines on each end will just go in reverse instead of flipping around, not too sure though.

It’s me Jason again. I can’t believe I haven’t asked this major question since I joined the TF community and I’m again to lazy to search the forum to see if anyone else has asked about this… so I’ll ask now…

“Will there be a scenario/career editor Like the one in Railroad Tycoon 3?”

Now I’m being VERY specific about the RT3 editor as opposed to the ones in Simutrans, OTTD, etc.

I want to know if you can make situations to we’re multiple goals and events like building a station in a town in x amount of time, connecting x cites/industries to each other, etc. can be added to a map along with the bigger overall goals like having a company value of x, transporting x amount of cargo, etc.

Also the ability to take save games and make them into scenarios would be nice.

Finally will us more advanced users be able to make custom scripts/triggers and player choices that effect the play model like a “disaster” that affects good prices or a choice to make commands where a player gets options to choose a reward such as lowering vehicle purchase cost for x time, speeding up vehicles by x%, etc.

By the way I forgot to ask, but if a signal is blocked by a stopped/crashed train for awhile, will they reroute trains to a side track that passes the blockage or will the trains have to wait till the track their on is cleared?

also will this apply to blocked road crossings?

Well it seems the maps are going to be 16km x 16km like most, but at 1m res that should make it bareable for large complex track layouts.

    Sounds good to me! 😉

That would be a great help… it’s a pain to try to replace 100+ locomotives one at a time… don’t EVEN get me started about the 500+ trucks and buses…

Well since this game will be using the Steam service, I guess they’ll leave the screenshot and recording mechanisms with the steam hot keys.

16X16km is a pretty good size for single player and 2-4 player maps, but 32x32km is perfect for 5-8 player maps.
