Try adding the “No Main Connections Mod” to your save file. Just don’t accidentally remove the spawn point roads for industrial buildings because you can’t add those back.

The best thing to do is try to slow the trucks down abit (try making the trips times 10 seconds longer). Also cities grow better if intercity traffic is low so try adding more buses/trams in your cities.

I’ve noticed that too on my newer maps.

Can you open task manager and view it while the game loads to monitor the game? What are your system’s specs?

Also try using Windows 8.1 (if possible) over Windows 8.

I have Windows 10 Pro and it still runs fine, did you try re-installing your game entirely? Also what errors or problems appear when you start running the game?

Yes. I’ve actually gotten this game to run on an Asus T100 which is far weaker than yours a a decent fps, yours SHOULD be fine other wise.

Ah now I see what you mean. I’ll test some new vehicles and see if it does this or not.

Odd, i have games in the year 2500+ that I can still buy vehicles for.

Sounds like a problem with the save or the mods are causing a conflict. Try a new map in 1950, time warp to 2051, then try building something again.

If you want a 2050+ year save you test with, you can use this one: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9uFvN9K3tPWMktUMERrN1dLUDg/view?usp=sharing

Did you try verifying the integrity of the game cache? Sounds like a file is missing to me. Also what language is your computer set to?

http://www.train-fever.net/ (Biggest and most active one I know of.)

http://transport-games.ru/index.php/files/category/40-transport/ (All Russian language site but you can use a page translator to get around and they have some vehicles for other countries as well.)

Sadly these are the only 2 big ones I know of but I’m sure with a little searching you can find more. ^_^

We’ll assuming your using windows on your PC if suggest opening the start menu or search box and running “dxdiag” to find out about more about your PC. If you can add the amount of ram your PC has AND gpu uses since it mostl likely shares it with everything else and what version of windows you use. If you don’t use windows list the OS and I can tell you how to find your specs another way.

Personally I use Ati or Nvidia GPUs  for all my PCs (except my windows tablet) since Intel GPUs are extramly underpowered. Anyway the HD 4000 is decent enough to run the game at a reasonable rate, the i5 should be enough to run a small or medium map full of vehicles, and I’m going to assume you habe ATLEAST 4gb of ram since that’s about the minimum most laptops have these days. This makes your laptop almost the same specs as my old gaming laptop (which has a GeForce 360m instead of the intel HD 4000) so it should run fine like it doses on mine.

Now that I have a simple understanding of what your specs are I’m going to “assume” some things.

A: Your settings are too high and your gpu can’t display the game due to the GPU locking up and crashes to prevent a whole system lock up. (This is VERY common on weak GPUs running .)

B:  Your resolution is too high or too low to display the game in full screen

C: Your game is missing files. This happens some times with steam games, simply “verify” your game files and it will re-download the missing files.

    Hope this helps.  Jm764

Well sadly that’s just how the DLC is atm. Your best bet to fix this atm would be downloading mods to change them to more american content for now.

Well the easiest solution to the problem would simply be adding a second train and making both run a>b>c>b>a and have them leave a & c at the same time so they meet a b together to reduce waiting time.

Well I recommend removing all mods first and testing to see if the game un-modded still saves and runs with out crashing at and after 1931.

    1. If it DOES work without mods, then you’ll need to test and see which mod is causing the problem, remove it, and notify the creator about the error if he/she is still supporting that mod.

    2. If it DOESN’T then I’d suggest uploading the save file here so the devs and other players/modders and test it and fix it that way.

    Hope this helps.

Note: I don’t work for UG.
