Jonathan078NLParticipantI love your work SpoorObjecten, I hope you will be able to make all those iconic dutch N.S. trains like Hondekop, Sprinter, Koplopers, NS IRM, NS DDZ, NS DD-AR, NS Mat 64, ‘Blokkendoos’ etc. Maybe it’s also nice to make the newer models like the NS SLT and Stadler GTW. š
Also some nice looking iconicĀ loc’s like theĀ NS 1000, NS 1100, NS 1200,Ā NS 1300, NS 1600/NS 1700,Ā NS 2200, NS 6400, NS Baureihe 186 etc.

Oftewel:
– Jij meneer, bent mijn beste vriend!
I think the modding tools should be easy to use (atleast user-friendly), this game is promoted as mod-friendy so I think you will have some work to do š Very curious how this evolves.
Let’s stay in contact till the devĀ tools arrive, from there we can decide if it’s reasonable, well it’s all up to you then. Maybe I can help but I never modelled before, so.
Jonathan078NLParticipantWhat about Metro railways!?
Jonathan078NLParticipantMeĀ too, IĀ would like a Headquarters! Also add something like a profile picture and the ability to give your transport company a name.
Jonathan078NLParticipantYou stole that answer from me Azreal š Yes make it optional, so you can choose to want it or not.
Jonathan078NLParticipantI just pre-ordered (on Steam) !!! Can’t wait to play this game, watched too many videos about it. Very jealous about those dudes playing the beta. Can’t take it anymore. Give me my key now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (8)
Jonathan078NLParticipantIt all depends on the developers support. The game will need balancing also after it’sĀ release, I hope this game will have a good and long support. If thats the case, then I won’t be afraid about balancing the game’s economic’s.
Jonathan078NLParticipant^^ I can get into that too, I understand that big aircrafts and airfields will tear some of the realism away from the game, because of the map sizes. (But again, it did work in Transport Tycoon)
What about Taxi’s ? It’s never done before in games like this, it’s original and adds realism if you ask me. Taxi’s and trains go very well together. Take a look at your local trainstation, atleast here in Holland there are always taxi’s waiting to pick up customers from the trainstations… š
Jonathan078NLParticipantI hope the’ reĀ some creative modellers here that also may take Dutch N.S. trains in consideration, they were also very popular on oTTD and Locomotion.
The Dutch N.S. trains all have wonderful colors, are very modern and just look bad-ass. N.S. also has a nice history with earlier trains, they just don’t go as far back to 1850 as far as I know. So most trains are modern which is nice in my opinion.
I’m very curious to your reactions.
Jonathan078NLParticipantAgreed on first post
Jonathan078NLParticipantAirplanes on this mapsizes should work, I mean look at Transport Tycoon. The combination of those various types of transport made that game big, I think it should fit Train Fever just as TTD. I think it would be great, but thats just my opinion.
They could add it as DLC, if you don’t like it you won’t have to. Or optional to put planes off before you start a map. Best for of both worlds š
Ships should fit perfectly but most rivers should be broader then they now areĀ (from which I saw in theĀ videos, the rivers looked to small for watertransportation).
Helicopters are more easy I think, because there are no map adjustments needed. Just place a Helipad and you good to go.
I hope to see as much variant tranportation methods as possible, it will make the game last much longer and keeps the game intressting for more people.
Maybe a strange idea: Add Taxi’s !!! How fun would that be?, and realistic too: here in the Netherlands it’s very common,Ā Trainstations are very crowded with Taxi’s waiting for passengersĀ !!!

Maybe next year but it totally depends on how good or bad the developer tools are/will be.
I tried to confince him about Train Fever, I told him how mod friendly this game is and that it will be available world-wide on Steam. Atleast I woke some intrest by Christrains, now it’s totally up to him to decide to do something with it.
Besides maybe we can ask him to use his models for this game by a good and decentĀ modder, so he hasn’t got all the work from it.
