    Hey jm764,

Maybe you should try to find some collaboration on http://www.train-fever.net , they are modding like crazy, they actually already got some train mods running in TF beta.

It’s a german community site though you could just start a english topic, see what the reactions are.

Hope to see the american mod pack aswell, the more mods, the better. I personally hope to see a dutch trainset, but all the others are just as welcome!! 😀

    @Steve

Very, very nice modelling, hope you make some nice ones for TF. If you have the beta you could try to use the mod manager from here: maybe it’s possible to get some models working already.

Maybe you’re also willing to help making some dutch N.S. trains (I truly hope so :), if so there’s a topic here:

    http://www.train-fever.com/forums/topic/anybody-planning-to-make-a-ns-nederlandse-spoorwegen-trainset/

    Keep up the good work

Nice video, to bad of the sudden death. Are there any notable changes in the game since last update 4068 compared to 4026?

Very, very nice, It think this game will have alot of added train models in short period of time. We should actually try more CiM models and adjust them slightly. That way we’ll have an enormous train collection before Christmas. 😀

    @olahaldor

Hey Olahaldor, I saw your work on a Norwegian Stadler, very nicely done. It’s looking fabolous. In Holland we also have a Stadler (Spurt) GTW from 2 different transport companies Arriva and Veolia. The model is slightly different then yours.

Maybe you can help us with that too 😛

    Here’s are 2 pics:

I was wondering, Christrains allready made alot of models (high-res) for Train Simulator 2014, do you think it’s possible to use them for Train Fever? If so, I can get alot of  the models he made! Hope to hear from you soon.

Nice to see this unravelling so quickly, also good to see you’re all willing to collaborate with each other. If we collaborate we can make things much easier and done quicker.

I’m willing to help with whatever, modelling is not my thing though but I’m not to old to learn. I’m also willing to help with other things aswell. Good job, keep it up.

    @ Mansen,

Do beta testers get a changlog with every update? I made a topic for posting changelog’s of the updates that are coming out. I’m very hoping that the beta testers will post all changes in there. I’m just curious what changes the game is going through right now. The thread is her:

    http://www.train-fever.com/forums/topic/place-beta-changelogspatch-notes-here/

    Thanks in advance

    Hey jm764,

i saw your most recent video on YouTube, on beta 4068. I was wondering if you could list the changes in this update from 4026. Actually I started a new topic for changelog’s/patch notes: I’m wondering if some beta testers could post them in this topic:

    http://www.train-fever.com/forums/topic/place-beta-changelogspatch-notes-here/

Thanks in advance, nice videos btw.

Well Berry, the game is obviously not finished yet from the looks of it and the release is very near, so I do see the advantage of that and why be all hush-hush about it? That isn’t bad publicity it’s called tranparant and honest.

Every game got its flaws in beta, thats why it’s called a beta. And the other repliers in this thread also think it’s a good idea. So..

Thank you for the replies, maybe I can replace that darn old gpu in nearby future, tired of it. Then again still some new games can run on my rig. So fingers crossed, I think it can take it.

There are some german people allready running mods on Train Fever beta; A running ICE train for example. take a look at this thread and video.

    http://www.train-fever.com/forums/topic/new-video-by-tom-io-showing-some-mods-new-industries-new-vehicles/

This website seem to be ahead in modding then we are on this forum, don’t take me wrong. It’s in german though http://www.train-fever.net. Maybe we can collaborate with these guys, it can make things alot easier then finding out everything by ourselves.

Saw it too, great how they allready have mods running in beta:

    Here’s the summary:

In this video some mods are shown. First the cargo mod with new industries and production chains. Then they show some new trains and give some general information regarding mods.

    • 2:40 – Cargo Mod – Features new industries and production chains
    • 3:16 – Shows a factory for household items. These have to be deliverd to the towns. production inputs are: plastic, planks and steel
    • 3:53 – Plastic factory; Input: refined oil
    • 4:30 – Shows an oil refinery and an oil well
    • 4:53 – Lumbermill (Sägewerk) and a forest (Wald)
    • 5:28 – Production chain for steel is explained

Here is a part of the production chain for household items:

Coal mine –> cokery plant -> steelworks —> factory for household items

Iron ore mine -> steel rolling mill –> steelworks –> factory for household items

    • 7:34 – “Thus it’s possible to mod any production chain one wants to have.”
    • 7:45 – shows that existing wagons are used for the new goods. But it should be possible to add new wagons.
    • 8:30 – New vehicles – First one: Büssing D2U with animated doors and an animated frame
    • 8:52 – VT137
    • 9:20 – BR 420 in different colors
    • 10:25 – ICE1
    • 10:55 – shown Models were originally made for Cities in Motion with Blender and customized for Train Fever; Scripts are written in Lua. Other tools work as well as Blender, except for SketchUp.
    • 13:30 – mentioning of mods that were developed by other beta testers: new stations, different user interface (large UI)
    • 13:50 – talk about what might be possible: new industries, new buildings, new futuristic buildings, new signals, new tracks; modding is an essential part of the game and already in this beta version very easy
    • 15:10 – talk about german community website http://www.wisim-welt.de/ (look here if you want to see some other mods that are in development)

Can anybody say if my old rig can take this game on; let’s say medium to low graphics settings:

    1. Windows 8.1 64 bit
    2. Intell quad-core Q6600 (one of the first quadcores)
    3. 4GB Ram
    4. Geforce 9600GT (yes, it’s damn old)

I want to play this game so bad, I don’t care to put the graphics lower. Well actually I desparately need a new rig. Thanks in advance.
