    Ah ha ha ha, I see nothing has changed in the last month.  Same shit, different day. They got my money but this was a very well learned lesson about games bought on Steam. You can’t trust em. Yeah, lets see how much they fix in the next patch considering they’re working on more trains now. I’m curious to see how much time they allotted to a fix rather than adding more trains. I didn’t even install the last update. No sense in it.

    BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!! More trains to put in a game that can’t run them. YAY!!! Sorry you can’t have fun while using them, though, because our game sux. Yeah, you’re priorities are in order, alright. Morons….

    I think everything is said. This should be closed. To much interest in something what brings no further development. Go back to the threads with suggestions to further development instead of shouting steam or even the developer-team which brought us a base to a great game so far. There is nothing to see here.

    All the games will open Steam, mine does too but it doesn’t update them for me. If I started TF from Steam, it would probably update for me too but from what I read, starting it from a shortcut, it doesn’t update itself but will always open Steam. That’s the way I understand it. I could be wrong, sorry.

    I just read something that might help. ck_mike, are you starting the game thru steam? I use the desktop shortcut and might be why my games don’t upgrade themselves. I just read that if you start it thru steam, it will update itself but if you use the desktop shortcut like I do, it won’t update itself. Hope this helps.

    I would offer you my older version of TF but have no where to put it for ya. Sorry but I don’t need any trouble for trying to help someone out. I have every version release so far, except of course the last one. I don’t even want it nor will I try it.

    I don’t understand how your game updated itself when mine never do. I have to go into Steam to update it myself every time.

    Found this on the German site that might help you all out. I dunno;

    You cant disable this function, however the first thing what you have to do is to build a “detour” so that the “Agent” has two possibility’s to reach the destination.If so … than you can start to bulldoze the street of your choice.

    This is just too funny. hehehe  WTG Urban Games. Good job of listening to the users!!! Mahahaha  I’d sure like to know where these users are that wanted working depot doors and most importantly, who wanted you to make the roads un-destructable. I don’t think I’ve seen either of these 2 requests anywhere. and I’ve been here since the games release. hahahaha. This is just too funny. Sorry everyone else, this just makes me laugh. Sad actually when they ruin their own game and make it even worse to play.. WOW!!!

    BTW, you all should be posting this in the support forum, it’s the one they read and respond in most, imho, and good luck with getting it removed. I can’t even play it any more. I just come here for a good laugh from time to time, sorry.

    I honestly don’t think they know how to implement them or they would have been in game already. Either that or they’re just too damn lazy to try. One has to wonder since all over the world, track crossings like above are used everywhere but not in Train Fever. lol.

    First of all, I’d like to apologize for what I typed to you about this. It was wrong of me and very ignorant of me to type that and was wrong of me to act that way. You don’t have to except my apology but I just want to put it out there anyway.

    The game has a very fine selection of vehicles

    They may be a ‘fine selection’ to some, but there is not enough of them. For a while in game, the nohab is the only available diesel engine for quite a few years. There is definitely a need for a bigger selection and I, for one, am not about to pay more money for more when they should have been included already. What is in the game now is slim pickens and nowhere near what should be in the game. It’s just not enough for the money I paid for this game.

    Really? And what problems might these be? I can play WoT for 30 hours straight and not have any problems like Train Fever has, AND it’s multi-player. I can only play Train Fever for a few hours before the problems make it un-playable. So I’d really like to know what problems you are typing of because I don’t have problems when playing WoT except for the players themselves. There are a lot of morons in that game that make it un-enjoyable and the reason why I quit playing it. But even still, it’s free to play unless you want to pay for gold and other things. That’s your choice. Not like Train Fever that charged me $34.00 to beta test it without my knowledge. And you may not like WG but they didn’t advertise a game as complete when it wasn’t like Train Fever did.

    Oh and, WoT doesn’t need community made mods to make it play better like Train Fever does. In Train Fever, you NEED mods like the BM to come close to working correctly and even then it’s BS because he had to lower the amount of cargo each carriage carries to work better. So how is that a good thing? Yes, it may help but it’s not right that it’s needed to make the game work better. I had to do that myself to the railcars I made to have longer trains. Now one of my trains pull out of the station with 16 pieces of cargo in 8 cars instead of 13 pieces in each like it should be. To me, that’s BS. The game is flawed and they charged me $34.00 for this flawed game and I feel like I was ripped off.

    Yeah, I don’t know, sorry. I don’t even play this any more. I found a game called SpinTires that is really fun to play and doesn’t have all these problems. It even has multi-player and the game engine is just fa nominal in the way it works. The suspension on the trucks actually move with the terrain. Awesome game to me. I like transport games but only come here now to see if they fixed it yet. I’ll start playing it again if they ever do fix it, maybe. This other game has my attention now and am gonna start modding in it. It’s still under development and was written that it was in many places. Not like this game where the users weren’t told about all the problems it has. And I only paid $10.00 for SpinTires. I would rather have given them the $34.00 and give these idiots the 10. SpinTires is well worth the money.

    If and/or when they do fix this, they’ll only have their fanboys playing this probably. I’m surprised to see you hung out for this long. I gave up after Micheal told me it was my fault that the game crashed while I was sleeping. lol. That was it for me.

    Good luck. I hope you figure it out. Sorry I can’t be more helpful with this. The people on the German site did a lot more testing on things. The only problem is the German language and the translators suck and aren’t very helpful. But they know a lot more about the game than people here and would be more helpful. Ya just need to understand German.

    I mentioned this to someone else, “cargo = true/false”, but he said that this tells the game what tab to place the station in and has nothing to do with what cargo it loads so changing this would have no effect to the cargo at all. It would just show up in the other tab when selecting the station.

    The transportModes = { “” }, would have to be changed for this to work and I don’t think it’s possible to have 2 sets of them in the .mdl file.
