Could you tell us your steam display name, or a link to your steam profile?
mikaelMemberYou can switch to window mode with alt+enter.
Then you’re able to change the resolution again.
If it doesn’t work again after switching forth and back with alt+enter, try and stick to a lower resolution.
mikaelMemberI’ve just tested it with the Steam version, no problem so far.
Did you install any mods or change the files for the Mirage EMU?
I’m currently not so sure if the “verify integrity of game cache” does solve this issue, or if you have to manually delete the file or the whole res folder and then use this function.
Are there any others with the same problem?
mikaelMemberIf you bought a (low-price) retail version of Train Fever in a country with one of those languages, only a limited set of languages is available (typically without English and German). The available languages should be clearly marked on each retail box. If you bought a key from a key-seller, you should contact the key-seller, this is not in our hands.
mikaelMemberThis sounds great, we found following article regarding the lost connection error:

mikaelMembermikaelMemberHave you tried to scroll with your mouse wheel?
Keep the cursor off the vehicle icons while scrolling. If you do have more vehicles in one line, that it’s necessary to scroll, hover the vehicle icon and scroll there.
mikaelMemberThis issue is caused by the truck station modification.
With the truck station from the original game this does work.
In the line config the lines should contain more than one personEdge to allow several cargo types.mikaelMemberYes the programmers are working on the performance patch.
The patch will be released next week.
mikaelMemberWe don’t have enough information to exactly write a solution. There are multiple causes for the connection loss of the opengl driver.
Could you please try to set the power management to maximum in the Nvidia Control Center:
NVIDIA Control Panel > 3D Settings > Manage 3D settings
Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance
mikaelMemberHave you read the most common issues: http://www.train-fever.com/forums/topic/most-common-issues/
Did you also wait a few seconds after the display turns black?
What are your pc specs?

mikaelMemberThe possibility to remove the main connections exploits the whole simulation and could happen without noticing, therefore a solution is needed to prevent the player from removing the streets between the cities.
I agree that not everyone wants this to be maintained from the game, but for players not known to the game mechanics, it could happen to fast that an important street gets deleted without even noticing it.
Of course in the end there’s always a way to cheat the game, but then it’s on purpose.
We’re still listening to our fans, and try to please them with new features and better optimizations. It’s obvious that not every single complain can be handled to everyone’s satisfaction. -
