The red arrow is awesome. drop 2 of them on a line with a RE+6 passenger wagons and they will keep up the supply of passengers because of the low frequency. they wil make just enough money to keep themselves alive, but most of the money will come from the big train.
Traian TranteParticipantAMD Graphics here as well. I think the bug shows up when you run out of video memory to load stuff in.
Traian TranteParticipantI had the same problem, but i switched my graphic settings to : textures: low and color depth: low and the problem went away.
Traian TranteParticipant@Reblet thak you for that formula, that is very helpfull !!!!
Traian TranteParticipant30 / line / station in my game.
Traian TranteParticipant@steveb i guess that coudl be simulated by making 2 types of industry requiring the same resources but producing different things. what we really need is a map editor and thus the ability to place those 2 industries close to each other

Traian TranteParticipantEh… intercity trams shoud be trains, it’s an exploit…..
Traian TranteParticipant@Varana : the only reason that works s because teh train station os close enough to the factory anyway. The goods woudl drop off and go there by foot, your trucks just make the job easier. If the station woudl be further, that setup wouldn’t work.
Traian TranteParticipantMake sure when buildign bridges they have enough height. that was my original problem, i was building bridges as close to the terrain as possible, and coudl never get them right.
Traian TranteParticipantNyetComrade : i agree. as cities grow, they shoudl demand more type of goods.
Traian TranteParticipantI can also confrm that there is a problem here.
I load oil get it to a refinery, on the same train i come back with fuel and drop it at the oil well. A truck line waith there to get it to the nearby town, but it doesnt work at all.
On the other hand, if i do this: place the first freight station in the city, deliver oil to it, the train converts it into fuel and drops it back to the city it works.
WHY i say this is a problem: the second line complex is inefficient. It’s longer than the first one, but it stil works.
TLDR: complex lines: truck -> train works. train -> truck … not so much.
Traian TranteParticipantThose can be added my modding the game….
