Here, I’ve taken a screen shot of both the original file and the game capacity. Stock.

Truthfully, I could just fidget with the figures until they’re to my liking. I just seek to understand why this behaves one way, while others behave as expected.

Further prodding shows that, for whatever reason, the in-game result is always the rounded result of dividing by 4. 52/4=13 and 17/4=4.25

Just seems odd that this freight car and the semi-truck are afflicted.

I’ve seen much more cargo than that waiting in a large truck station. I even perused through the file and found no defining parameter for capacity.

That really bums me out. I hate that one industry on the map can provide for nearly every city’s needs. They should require a certain amount of each type of goods.

Right now, the game feels a bit elementary.

It makes sense that the frequency could be time between each stop. My total circuit could be well over 20 minutes alone, nevermind the fact that they could be sitting at the station for 5 minutes waiting for the next train to pick them up plus the ~80 second travel from the steel mill to the truck stop (adjacent to the freight station) and another 10 or so seconds to do their floaty walk across the road to the station.

I feel like frequency would be more valuable information if it measured the time from the pick up point to the last drop off point in the line.

Better yet, a sort of ingame tool that showed how long it would take goods to reach point B from point A (via available lines) would be amazing, rather than doing it by trial and error and wasting a ton of time and cash in the process.

Ah thank you, I was looking in config for vehicle files. And assumed mdl was short for model file. Didn’t think configuration of the vehicles would be in their model files.
