NO
Many of my lines deliberately make a loss, I don’t want 2 dozen popups every year.
Person012345ParticipantYou’re missing the fact that it doesn’t matter which town they deliver to in terms of your profit and the industry will grow to fully supply both towns if you give it a little bit of time.
Person012345Participant@Azrael because it was interesting. I learned some lessons from it and will make more similar things in future except they will look better. Not everything has to be “most efficient” blandness, I want my games and systems to look different each time I play.

You have no idea how much of an (expensive) pain in the ass this was to make work.
Person012345Participant@Bartalos, I never have to save and load. You don’t have to get hostile just because someone disagrees with you. I just said that if it is going to be in game, there needs to be a way to disable it because some of us DO NOT WANT this information. We are not interested in min-maxing everything and we’re perfectly capable of adding or taking away carriages based on their actual performance. Having that information there would simply be irritating.
Person012345ParticipantProof that it works, if anyone is interested. Nothing was grouped.
Person012345ParticipantBut why? Why not use multiple ones? He has no issues with multiple raw materials factories, why not multiple goods-producing industries?
Person012345ParticipantWell I can’t help you with your actual question, but are you saying that if you had multiple 400 prod industries feeding into this depot, that that wouldn’t be enough? That there aren’t enough industries on the map? That sounds unlikely so why is the 400 cap limiting you?
Person012345Participant@Traian: Is that so?

Because I started a new game to test this the wells haven’t physically produced anything yet, but the industry screen indicates that it’s perfectly happy to use my train-truck-train line. I will wait and see what happens with the cargo once it’s produced.
Edit: Confirmed that that setup works.
Person012345ParticipantOh, and by the way, I can also confirm that loading trucks -> trains works. I just realised I have a setup where trucks ship ore to a train station and it transfers just fine: http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/50986086040097246/D570EA9AFD1AB41E95C2CD1CAF12548CB39AD1A0/
Interestingly, although the train station is called “lower basingstoke” when clicked, the schedule for the line calls it “basingstoke exchange”. Don’t know if this is relevant.
Person012345Participant-Edit- Oh for god’s sake, wrong thread.

Person012345ParticipantThere is another way to do it, drag out the road and press “M”, it will raise the middle of the road and after a few presses create a bridge.
Anyway, here are a few I made:

Person012345ParticipantIt may be to do with the proximity of the truck station to the train station.
Tbh this just goes to show how piss-poor the instructions for the game are, nobody knows what the hell is going on.
Person012345ParticipantSorry, misunderstood, ignore this post.

Person012345Participant@ben, you basically get a free train if you line up the two raw materials in series because for some reason a car can take both x tons of coal and x tons of iron ore at the same time (rather than one or the other as it should logically be). I think that should be fixed so that it can only be loaded up with one type of good at a time.
