PiaPoiParticipant
Do you mean that electric doesn’t come in until later in the game? It could well be that… perhaps an engine which I thought was diesel was in fact electric & that’s why it didn’t work? I’m still in the 1800s, but all the trains are showing up because I’m using Gwinda’s timeless_mod.
While you’re here… I’m also really struggling to figure out the signalling. Do you know of a good guide? It all seems to be working fine, then suddenly two trains decide to come down the same track and meet nose-to-nose — I’d’ve thought it would have occurred to one of them to use the other side!
PiaPoiParticipantThanks for the thought, but in this case they’re definitely correct — as I say, it all seems to work fine with steam trains, just not with diesel or electric!
PiaPoiParticipantOh, perfect! <3 Thank you.
PiaPoiParticipantThank you for replying! I did figure out the ‘Enable Legacy Mod’ for Timeless, and that’s now working brilliantly!
As for Cost Mod: (1) When you say ‘enable in TFGM’, do you mean in Legacy mode or normal? And (2) humble apologies for my ignorance but… What do you mean by “TF’s manager”? You must mean something other than TFGM, but what else is there?
I’m so grateful for your help… I only bought the game because I saw that I’d be able to use your mods to make it a big train set sandbox! 😉 So I’d love to get them running!
PiaPoiParticipantIt’s not working for me! 🙁
Extracted TFGM. Imported Cost_Mod and Timeless_Mod. Enabled both. Ran TF…. no difference.
There must be something absolutely fundamental I’m not doing, I would be eternally grateful to anyone for pointing out my glaring error!
