A replace now button would be great!
plnrmattParticipantThat’d be brilliant if modders could step in!
I agree with Tablemat, what’s the point in having curved roads when building plots are grid-only?
plnrmattParticipantThanks Tossi and yid – I didn’t know about the conflict with the UI.
plnrmattParticipantThanks Mansen, I suppose it’s a fix on the Dev’s list of things to do then 🙂
plnrmattParticipantThe buildings in the release version will be slightly more detailed.
However, building floor plans will consist of 90° angles.
Unfortunatley we have been forced to limit the angles in order to simplyfy the implementation of town development.Arg! That’s annoying! I hope there’s a DLC or mod to fix that. The cities in the video FelixHill posted (above) look so much better/realistic than the 90 degree footprints the Devs are now delivering – the roads in the Beta videos seem to leave so many vacant plots of land 🙁
plnrmattParticipantHas anyone seen any videos of large cities? I haven’t seen any with skyscrapers yet
plnrmattParticipantI totally agree with baronjutter! It’s such a shame to see gaps between buildings and no terrace houses/buildings. I hope the devs are looking into this.
plnrmattParticipantHey guys,
I’m really excited about this game 🙂 any chance we could see some more pics or a new video of gameplay?
plnrmattParticipantGreat idea fastfokker! A new game play video is long overdue!! 🙂
plnrmattParticipantI love the posibilities and variety that come with larger maps. I totally understand that larger maps might not be possible in the initial game release, but might they be possible in future DLCs?
plnrmattParticipantThanks for the responses,
That’s a shame about not being able to seed a new town. I suppose given the size of the map it makes sense though.
If there’s no catchment radius how will we know where to put stations and stops? The benefit of a catchment radius is that you can easily see whether your stop/station placement is efficient & that they don’t compete with each other for passengers/goods
