Never had any problem on deleting tunnels, just zoom out and over the mouse across the underground area of the tunnel (not the entrances) and it will light up yellow, then delete.

It’s obvious more an anti-virus problem than a game problem. Most of the people install anti-virus programs but don’t know how to customize it to work the way they want. That’s a false positive, but as per default most anti-virus programs immediately deletes to quarantine any suspicious file. First you must disable that automation by requesting you to confirm any deletion before it happens. When that happens either you confirm the deletion of the file, or if you know that it is a false positive, you can create an exception for that file, so when the anti-virus scans it again, it knows not to put the file into quarantine and ignore it. Look for info on false positives, or exceptions at the McAfee website or through Google.

Another thing, sometimes when you delete one of the old track’s section, if it’s electrified, it leaves a tiny electric pole, usually near junctions or old switches that must be deleted as well. Sometimes it’s hard to see if you’re laying tracks zoomed away. You must zoom further close to spot the “nasty” pole.

Yes, it’s possible, I did the same line upgrade and was able to make switches. The only thing I notice was that it requires a longer track space to create the switch, which makes sense as it’s for faster trains.

Quote “My question is.. how many signals and where should I place them to have trains spreaded on entire network? I don’t want that two trains come to a city one after another. Currently I have signals only in front and behind stations … works more or less ok .. but is not optimal, because distance between cities is not equal and some trains waits to much time.   … any advice?”

I usually use this setup between 2 cities, 1 line, two trains going back and forward with a sidding pass more or less between two cities. First I send one train and when it gets to the end of the line, I send the other. That means they will meet each other half way between cities, the reason to create the sidding pass there. Don’t forget to put the signals inside the sidding pass on the right side before the junctions. If sometimes one of the trains suffers a delay because it tool longer to empty/fill with passengers, usually the sidding pass will reset the times and one train waits for the other keeping both trains separated and evenly sparsed.

I believe on the Steam version, you can’t.
