Nice my kid wil love it đ
reijnemansParticipantHi Mikael, could you tel us when the next patch wil come? this week? next week? next month
reijnemansParticipantThey already talking about Train Fever 2 in the article, I prefer just a DLC for the extra functionality
reijnemansParticipantThat is why I proposed an automatic system setting the frequency value to one that will fullfill the needs of the producers of goods on that line according to how much goods is produced.
An automatic system that purchases vehicles would then have to look at the capacity of the vehicles to figure out how many to buy.
Making an automatic vihicle buy system is not rocket science. Modifying the GUI and painting all new buttons may take a whole day. Writing new automatic purchase system probably only take 2 hours.
Yes I am 50 years old and a systems programmer system admin and network admin , I can see how few lines of code is required.
Ahhhh, you’re lazy… as all good programmers, are you? đ
specify the frequency on the line. Or set the frequency to automatic. Setting it to automatic the game will then use whatever frequency value is necessary to serve all âusersâ of that line and how much cargo they produce at the moment.
I disagree with the automatic feature, this actually mean that you only want to build. (Because you’ll never lose money with this feature). There is a mod to change all costs.
I think it’s challenging to watch over the cost/profit you have.
I do agree with the replace button for replacing vehicles.
reijnemansParticipantGo to the buy section and find out, needed specs a listed there:

September 17, 2014 at 11:04 in reply to: I have the game on Steam but it's only some kind of early release (?) #8834reijnemansParticipantNope you’ve the full version.
If you read steam you’ll see the game doesn’t have any multiplayer support (yet). manual could be found on the forum:
http://www.train-fever.com/forums/topic/train-fever-interactive-guide/
And yes there are still some issues with the game, devs seems to be working on it. Other things are things you want to have, but are never promised, like hybrid stations and waypoints
pathfinding errors (with trains waiting for the previous train to leave the stations when there are several free platforms)
use signals
lack of information about further updates

reijnemansParticipantDonât forget save it as UTF-8 for special characters.
True, but because you’re editing the original file, it will be automatically be saved as UTF-8 (at least when using notepad or notepad++)

reijnemansParticipantIt works when you open it via the reddit url (see comments in the post)…
Had the same problem
reijnemansParticipantA few of them are mentioned in the guide: http://www.train-fever.com/forums/topic/train-fever-interactive-guide/
reijnemansParticipantHope it helps and that I am correct. A few more hours and we will know for sure!
Yeah, still have to wait to long before I’am able to play the game (about 9 hours)
reijnemansParticipantHi all
Thanks for the reactions, I have another question about freight, (maybe i should open a new topic, but because we’re already talking about freight).
I was wondering if the freight always searches the nearest possible location.
For eaxample:
If I’ve an oil depot,  city A (right next to the oil depot) and city B (that’s far away), will the oil be transported  to both cities? While both cities are consuming oil, and both cities have a railway to the oildepot. Or will it only be transported to city A will this is the nearest to the oil depot?
I like to let one city (the smallest one on the map) grow as much as possible

reijnemansParticipantMmm theoretically I think itâs possible because I think thereâs an âUnload Allâ option to add to a line, Iâm not sure though because I donât owe the Beta and never payed attention to it. This was in fact an option in Transport Tycoon.
Actually I hoped that this is done automatically, same as in reallife, when I go from a to b its possible I switch trains multiple times. This way I could get my cities a lot cleaner and also safe me some in game money đ
