I totally agree with tattoo. I remember before the launch , we were discussing various things we would like as DLC planes ,ships and so much more . Now we are debating if they will even fix the game atleast .

The game becomes pretty boring after a while , no replaybility because there is no depth in simulation or economy of the game and lack of enthusiasm in devs to fix that .

As much as i was excited about this game , and how it will revive our beloved genre , it seems like they just put the nail in the coffin for this genre .

Don;t get me wrong , i still love the game very much (not because of what it is , but what it could have been )and check the news feed everyday and get disappointed to see nothing new has been said and done .

Great idea Artan . I wish that they atleast think about this .This would be perfect . I just got bored playing train fever for 40-50 hrs . because it didn’t had a lot of depth in the gameplay .But i love this game and hope that The dev teams makes a more complex economy into dlc or maybe the next train fever with other transport options ie planes and ships

Yes, that should not be that hard to implement. but i wish they would add additional goods like food from farm and maybe cars from a factory that takes steel ,oil ,and stuff and many more (but i agree that would take a lot of work) .

Maybe in future , if they introduce more industries, cars can be produced and delivered to cities , which will increase suburban areas increasing town area and popn quick.

I think there might be a good numbers of sales in germany . I don’t know but i think atleast 50,000 copies should be sold for devs to make something out of this (is it too much ?) . I have no idea about game buisness ,I am just throwing numbers.

50,000 copies *20$(lets hope they make at least that much from 1 game)-1,000,000.

Agree with all of you , in addition I think , the game really needs some polishing , tweaking and character and personality adding . At times everything looks dull and monotonous . Maybe little animations of factories working and little visual and audio inmprovements in the city and landscapes.

Well , at this point , I would like to remind everybody that , this is a video game ,and video games are not meant to be real. their existence is based on imaginations and creativity and I am pretty certain that Devs will find some sort of creative approach to introduce the content that is highly demanded by a huge fan base and make sure that some people who want to play just with trains and trucks , can play without any of thier realism destroyed.

for someone complianing that you need a 500 km area for planes , you should realise that these high speed trains , and vast networks of trains don’t exist in 16 km area in realism, the tens of big cities don’t exist in a 16 km area  . so please stop baseless discussions of how planes will destroy the realism.

@Azreal- Thanks for the details of how the economy and planes/ships will work.

My sincere apologies if anyone feels offended , but i guess What me, Azreal and other fans are trying to say is that let us play the game as we want it to , and as long as it does not interferes with your way of playing the game, there is no reason to create a propoganda to not  let us enjoy the game as we want to.

I think hatred for planes is just paramount, hoping for a world without hatred and full of love.

Yea , thats some nice ideas guys. This is just being a little too dreamy but here is a idea that might never be in this game but here it goes.

As Cities gets bigger and gets provided with goods and passenger , they have certain wealth groups , and they demand ceratin things like , Cheapest travel for a little less fortunate populace(maybe passenger trains and huge ships and buses .Faster travel for rich populace (Airplanes and fast bullet trains.) and so forth on.

I think this will add great depth to the game and people selecting what and which transportation to select where , will make it more strategical , then just building a system from place A to place B.

I think this can be introduced because we already have wealth maps and stuff. and Things like Airplanes and faster trains can integrate well in the game through this.

    What do u guys think?

Sorry if I offend someone , But as it is clearly mentioned frequently that so many people want planes and ships as DLC,  Why are people constantly trying to eliminate them . Even if the developers ever decide to do it , it will be an dlc , which means you don’t have to Buy it and play it , You can just play with trains and trucks  and indeed save some money . But you have to understand that their are thousands of other fans who would love to pay and see some planes and ship , why to negate them and spread negativity of not making this an inclusive game for everyone , where everyone finds it their own and play as they wish .

I know the EULA agreements . I definetly think modders who build content should to get profits from their work. Maybe the game developers should sell them at their official game website with taking a appropriate chunk for themsaelves , makes everyone happy ,, especially the loyal fans who get massive content and keep game alive for decades.

    @swissyntax-

I agree and i think it would be pretty evident from my posts that all i want is a city like my city with things my real city has and that’s for myself.

If i could pay and buy from some modder, i would actually buy it , rather than build a mod ..
