Ah, another attempt at intentionally misleading statements. I listen to information. I listened to the information that described two switching methods used for dynamic platform and track handling. But that’s not in the game is it? I said that it’s not the consumers job to go through that AMOUNT of information in order to make their purchase. If I have to watch 57 different videos on youtube in order to learn everything I can about the product before buying it, that’s excessive. The devs chose to release a broken game in a poor state with not all the talked about features. They’ve been MIA on the forums since then and have left nothing but pathetic little fanboys to sing their praises. if they can’t even bother to defend themselves and their actions, do you think it’s a really good idea to jump in on their side?

They are not MIA. There are many posts in support forum where they help people solve their technical problems. Also patches are comming so we know they were working on the game. They also wrote in patch news that they aknowledge the issues people have with the game and will work on fixing them after they make game stable enough. I would rather like them work on the game than talk to the likes of you as that would be wasted time in my opinion. As I have some time to waste I may keep talking.

Welcome to Train Fever, where the numbers are made up and the experience points don’t matter

Game is a game so it is to be expected that values are scalled so they would fit the game needs.

It’s not a customers job to have to watch hundreds of videos for a $35 purchase. Instead they should release a quality product. I doubt a single video showed you the problem of passengers not exiting trains at the end of the line because of bad pathfinding.

They specifically talked about multiple switching methods used for dynamic switching and even sent that around after release, yet it’s nowhere in the game.

Stop trying to blame the customers for an incompetent dev. They’re not going to take you out for pizza for defending them on the forum.

So now you are saying you wouldn’t listen to information about the game before buying no matter if it was provided because that’s not your job. You, sir, have become ignorant hater. As I see it developers do as much as a small team can do and it looks like they will keep doing it. Game is not ideal but it is playable and enjoyable and it keeps getting improved.

    Another classic fanboy response.

Researched it, advertised features aren’t in the games.

You can’t research bugs on day 1.

devs need to try harder and trying to troll these accounts. if a real user wrote that, they should be slapped.

Except for the problems with some drivers and chipsets I knew all annoying quirks and shortcomings of Train Fever when I preordered. There were enough videos on youtube to find that out.

I would rather see optimization of the game engine and thats what they are working on as far as I know.

All the info you need was already provided before if only you searched properly here and on steam. Even so I am going to repeat the most crucial information you need:

    1. You will always have to connect a full chain Extractor -> Factory -> Town

    2. Production in this game is driven by demand. It means that if town demand 20 goods factory will only produce up to 20 goods and extractor connected to factory will only produce up to 20 resource.

    3. Whatever you transport it needs to reach the destination within 20 minutes

    4. Connecting multiple factories to one town or multiple extractors to one factory is a bad idea. They will compete with each other and hurt each other production.

    5. Connecting factory to multiple towns is on the other hand a good idea. The production at factory will go up to the sum of good demands of all connected towns. And production at resource extractor will raise accordingly.

    6. You should transport any cargo from as far as possible remembering that transportation time may not exceed 20 minutes.

IMO this is also a poor network design on your part. No gridlocks will happen if everything is designed properly.

Seems like a placeholder for missing model, try to verify your game files.

Aren’t you overexaggerating a bit? Below is a screen of a station with all its junctions and it is well within boundaries of a single city.

Hmm. Then your version of TF have sent them a lot of crash reports to analize. For me it’s the oposite. I didn’t experience a single crash since last version and I had a crash every 10 to 15 minutes before that. I wish for your problems to be resolved ASAP.

No trams is a bug, they continue to exist in game until the end of times. Maybe some of tram files got corrupted. Have you tried to verify game files?

The country roads have higher speed limit than town roads. You are allowed to drive faster outside of cities in real life, are you not?

    1. I fully agree it’s a problem.

    2. I don’t care as I rarely use trucks but where I do the wait for full load option works for me.

    3. The ability to pick platforms for lines is needed because the game will often split platform usage unevenly. It would also be nice to be able to assign cargo to one track and express to the other where the tracks run parrarel.

Statement about how multiple lines on same tracks create a mess is wrong. A corridor that is made of two tracks, one for each direction of movement can handle many lines without any problems as long as junctions are designed properly by the player.

    4. Wait for full load order works really well if used properly evidence in the screenshot:

If there ever was such a feature implemented I would like to have an option to turn it off.

They grew by themselves as the city grew. I don’t really know all the conditions for skyscrapers to appear just try to make the city as big as possible by connecting it to other cities and feeding it goods.

There are 1806 residents in the city as can be seen on the screen if you keep following the link below the picture.
