    That’s the thing. IF, but there isn’t. The demand is so low that the industries don’t produce squat and using long trains is just for looks because they surely won’t be filled with cargo.

    Stop the BS. All I ever used was trains and never had problems making profit. Especially with 2 of the 18 wagon iron ore trains.

    Yeah, the trees do cause big fps slowdowns when up close, needs optimizing. And i don’t like how the forest is a just mashup of different trees,  should be mostly one type e.g. pine.

    Modding is very limited at the moment. Can only replace existing models/textures and add new industries or vehicles. Everything else like game logic, build menu, UI, map generation and so on is not moddable.

    The problem is with how you use the trains then, not with the game. Longs trains are possible and very profitable if there is demand for big amounts of raw materials.

    Use the mouse wheel to move down the list. The scrollbars don’t actually work.

    The different lines using different platforms thing definitely should be kept as it is realistic.  The passengers gather and wait on the platform for the line they planned, so if trains picked free platforms it would create a mess with all the passengers moving between different platforms in a busy station.

    Another thing that i found disappointing is that the wagons for coal and iron are the same,  even if full or empty.

    I don’t know how you are doing it, but i have no problems with trains picking free platforms.

    Single line, 2 platforms, one train waits for exit, while another one enters, it works beautifully.
