vinkandoiParticipant
You can handle long distance trains even with 20 minute rule. However the rule time should be increased. Its a sandbox type game and such limitations are irrilevant
vinkandoiParticipantU should not set up a high capacity supply chain intially.
Start with trucks or small trains. After production is high enough you should upgrade your line capacity.
Never use heavy locomotives when the production is low. However you will feel their need when production is high (more than 200), specially when distances are far.
This is how train fever industries work.
vinkandoiParticipantThere mods availabe like the cargo mod by gwinda.
I love the ATT Mod Advanced Train Total. You will also surely love it because
It will allow you to bring around cows and trains with grain hopperes
😉
vinkandoiParticipantIt seems that if you use both usa dlc and vanilla vehicles, you cannon earn achievements.
You can earn achivements after deactivating mods, if you either choose USA or Default region.
vinkandoiParticipantWell I just realized it. I was playing a vanilla game just to get some achievements, but it says the same thing. Its unfortunate  that the Urban team are making such silly mistakes.
vinkandoiParticipantI wish such innovations were in India also.
However Train fever has better technology. Just drag and drop 😉
vinkandoiParticipantCargo in this game is simple yet tricky. I suggest you to read some tutorials available on steam.
I am also in the process of writing one
vinkandoiParticipantThats really amazing. Which country is this?

You can add them to an existing savegame
March 26, 2015 at 03:57 in reply to: When should you switch from cargo trucks to cargo trains? #18196vinkandoiParticipantI don’t use both road and rail to service the same source and destination. The raw materials are always send by road rather than rail; may be because road vehicles have smaller frequency (since they are many compared to trains).
Simply stop your truck line and then watch the results

U can use a single train as long as its frequency is about 10 mins.
One train shoud carry approximately  ((250/12)* frequency) units of goods.
vinkandoiParticipantIt seems that both trains are using the samw line.
Remove the signal near the railroad crossing. It should work
vinkandoiParticipantI dont think so if such a mod exists. However I didnt require such a mod. A city grows if its sectors are connected to more and more destinations. Its very easy to grow a city.
If you want to increase the production than try to serve multiple cities.
