Big bus/tramway stations do not use multiple platforms

When creating a line, it seems like every line and direction (if i pass it twice) has its own platform in the station. Unfortunately this changes when i close the line editor as every line will use the same platform then, which causes issues in the higher frequentet stations. Is there a possibility to force them using different platforms or is this a bug?
