For those who just like to appreciate the world around

For me a big part of playing train games is just look around and appreciate the sounds. A train sound, a bell, just makes my day.

So I made a video with it. Train Fever have very good sound effects. You can see how the sound changes when another vehicle is coming in the opposite direction, the sound of acceleration and braking, horns and bells etc. That I missed very much in CiM. Actually which was the last game with good sounding of each vehicles?

There are still the steam and diesel engine not showing in the video.

I just hope for more trees. I think after the optimization is done they can add trees everywhere. The plain green grass everywhere doesn’t look so nice.

Great videos. The sounds are brilliant and so lifelike. This is what I like in games, and these guys seemed to have captured it all. Has to be the best transport game so far.

This video shows a busy station and a long cargo tran. In TF you can have long realistic trains, meaning they make sense in the game. Not like Locomotion where long trains are financially inviable.

One thing I found missing though (not in this video) – trams have no catenary.

I remember how I would put trolley bus electricity lines over my tram tracks in CIM2, good stuff :D.
