I’ve seen it crash after about 5 minutes, on a save load, on an attempt to build any amount of rails, on connecting rails to stations. Its getting very frustrating.  I’ve tried on various sized maps, with and without the USA DLC. I’ve started with coach service first in two towns and then attempted to connect the towns with trains but the game crashes. The sound stops and then the game crashes.  I’m running the Steam version and am getting close to asking for my money back.

My system specs are as follows:
