Is it the calculation for the costs or is it the font, which pops up?

If it is the font:

Can it be switched off, so the lag wont be that strong?

There have been some threads on this forum in the past about it. While the game performance has improved a bit over the year the end of month (especially on increased speed) will remain a problem later on in a game.
