I got the following error while loading a previously saved game.  The game then crashes out to desktop and dies.

If not, try verifying the integrity of game cache (if using steam version)
If so, then as the dialog suggests, a mod may be the issue here.

But this vehicle was not modded and no mods had been installed for a few days (and I had started and loaded many times since).  Looking in the file it looked OK to me but obviously became corrupt.

 

BTW: I was also unable to start a new game either
