[Solved] Requesting Help With Wagon to Train to Wagon transfer

First day with Train Fever but I’m doing pretty well. I’ve looked through the Steam Guides and the Train Fever Interactive Guide and have a decent handle on things except my cargo transfers. I’m playing the USA DLC and it’s 1872. I’ve got a truck station built next to an oil well. The truck (wagon!) route runs to a truck station that’s grouped with a cargo train station. That train station is connected by a cargo line using oil cars to another cargo train station. That cargo train station is grouped with a truck station, which has a truck (wagon) line linking it to an oil refinery.

I’m not seeing any oil being generated by the oil well and it says “Line usage: no”. I’ve let it run a couple of game years but no oil has yet been created or carried. Am I missing something obvious or is this something that can’t be done by the game engine, the switching or cargo from wagon to train to wagon.

Any help would be appreciated.

OK, apparently I didn’t wait long enough. After posting I fired up the game again and in a couple of more months the wagon to train to wagon oil transfer did start working. Lesson is (I think) that it can take quite a while for the whole process to start if the process involves so many transfers.
