track upgrade?

Hi, is it possible to upgrade tracks to high speed tracks later in game? I see that I can build the high speed one now but I don’t see a upgrade option like for roads

No, at least I have not found a way. You’ll have to tear it down and rebuild it, which, while not particularly fun and difficult to pull off without shutting down your network, is kinda realistic.

^they could make it something like 5-20 min upgrade depending on distance so it’d have a timer on the track, would be realistic then.

removing my track and having to even the ground really sucks

No it’s impossible right now – Lots of us are hoping it’ll become an option like upgrading tracks into electrics or trams.

In RL high speed tracks are seperate most of the time.  But atleast 160 km/h  should be possible.
